MEGAN SULLIVAN

Megan Sullivan was born and raised in Reno, NV which has been a driving factor for her work in the community. She graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with her Bachelor’s in Social Work with a minor in Addiction Treatment Services in 2021. She then went on to get her Master’s of Social Work from  the University of Nevada, Reno in 2022. Megan is now a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Nevada as of December 2024. Megan had worked in a Residential Treatment Setting for two years as a clinical social work intern before joining the team at Healing Minds. During this time, Megan worked with adolescents and their families utilizing Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Megan continues to utilize a DBT approach with her clients at Healing Minds.  


Megan has worked with a variety of populations during her time as a social worker. She has worked with individuals who are facing struggles such as addiction, homelessness, disabilities, and emotional dysregulation. She has worked for other companies and organizations in the community including The Life Change Center, Eddy House, and Crisis Support Services of Nevada. Megan has a passion for helping individuals develop a life worth living and finding new ways of coping with the stressors they are facing. She looks to provide an open, nonjudgmental environment that allows clients to be their authentic selves and make effective changes for where they are at in life. Megan loves music and crafting.
