Marissa Sepulveda

Originally from the Bay Area, Marissa moved to rural Nevada in grade school and has lived in Nevada most of her life. After graduating high school, Marissa moved to Reno, Nevada to pursue her education. She graduated with her bachelors and masters degree in social work from the University of Nevada, Reno. Although Marissa’s primary experience and passion is helping adults, she has experience with adolescent boys and girls. Before pursuing her clinical internship, Marissa worked in an inpatient setting where she gained knowledge and insight into assisting, treating, and providing services to clients with substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, and other mood disorders. Marissa’s primary passion is to help clients and their families navigate the ups and downs of life, cope and adapt to change, and to help clients process emotions in a safe environment. Marissa prides herself on her ability to build rapport with clients and to create a safe space to foster healing, resilience, and growth.
