Linda was born and raised in Nevada and spent her formative years in the northern half of the state. She attended University of Nevada, Reno and received her bachelor’s degrees in both Psychology and Social Work in 2006. She worked with elderly individuals in crisis for nine years before returning to UNR to acquire her master’s in Social Work. She worked in clinical settings with all age groups for several years, then started with Healing Minds to support individuals and families in our community. Her humanistic approach to treatment focuses on establishing a teamwork mentality between the client and herself. She respectfully starts where they are at and follows where they lead. Linda believes we all have the strength and power to heal ourselves with the support of therapy. Her goal is to listen, validate, accept her clients as they are, and challenge them as needed.
