ANGELICA ALEXANDER

Originally born and raised in California, Angelica found her way to Nevada after serving in the United States Army. Upon discharging from the Army, Angelica completed both her Bachelors and Master’s of Social Work from the University of Nevada, Reno with a Minor in Addiction Treatment Services. She found her way into the Social Work profession while serving as a Victim Advocate for Military Members and families impacted by interpersonal trauma, trauma-related disorders, and intimate partner violence assisting them throughout their healing journey. Expanding upon her social work career, Angelica worked with the homeless Veteran population as they obtained and maintained permanent housing during their mental health and substance abuse recovery process. Maintaining her aspiration to advocate for and aid others, Angelica journeyed towards obtaining her clinical social work licensure working with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. Utilizing various evidence-based treatment modalities and therapeutic interventions, she remains committed to assisting individuals throughout their therapeutic healing process.
