Angelica found her way to Nevada after serving in the United States Army. Following her discharge, she earned both her Bachelor and Master of Social Work degrees from the University of Nevada, Reno, with a minor in Addiction Treatment Services. Prior to her clinical social work career, she served as a Victim Advocate, supporting individuals and families affected by interpersonal violence, child abuse, violent crimes, and discriminatory abuse.Transitioning into clinical social work, Angelica focused on supporting homeless Veterans with co-occurring disorders, helping them maintain permanent housing during their recovery and rehabilitation. Angelica specializes in trauma-related disorders, including sexual trauma, substance abuse, suicidality, personality disorders and parent-child conflict. She is dedicated to guiding individuals through their therapeutic healing journey, using evidence-based treatment modalities and therapeutic interventions.
