I believe that sometimes life can leave us feeling lost, overwhelmed, or disconnected from the person we want to be. My role as a therapist is to provide a steady, nonjudgmental place where you can slow things down, understand what’s happening, and begin finding your way forward.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with more than 15 years of experience working with individuals, couples, families, veterans, and people facing significant emotional and life challenges.
My clinical experience includes trauma, depression, anxiety, substance use, emotional dysregulation, crisis intervention, and complex life transitions. I am also certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and incorporate DBT, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and other evidence-based approaches into my work.
I believe therapy should be both compassionate and practical.
Sometimes we need someone to simply listen and understand; other times, we need new skills, a different perspective, or the courage to make a change. I work collaboratively with clients to find that balance, meeting people where they are while helping them move toward where they want to be.
Outside of therapy, I practice Aikido, a Japanese martial art that has
taught me a great deal about balance, awareness, patience, and staying grounded when life gets difficult. I also enjoy mountain biking and am learning to play guitar. If you feel like you’ve lost your way, you don’t have to find the path alone. I would be honored to walk alongside you as you rediscover your footing and build a life that feels more like your own.
