I bring over 40 years of experience working with children and families, with the majority of my career spent in nonprofit settings supporting individuals impacted by trauma. My work has focused heavily on early childhood, specializing in children ages zero to five, as well as children and families navigating complex and multigenerational trauma.

In addition to my professional experience, I am also a mother to biological twins, eight adopted children, and three stepchildren. Parenting within a large, diverse family system has deeply informed my clinical perspective and strengthened my understanding of attachment, neurodiversity, resilience, and family dynamics.

Throughout my career, I have worked extensively within the foster care system, supporting foster children, foster parents, and biological parents. I also have significant experience working with neurodivergent children, particularly those with IEPs, IFSPs, and other individualized service needs. I am passionate about helping parents navigate often complex systems of care and advocating for children to receive the supports they need to thrive.

Throughout my internship, I worked closely with women recovering from addiction, supporting them as they rebuilt their lives, strengthened relationships, and reconnected with themselves. I have a deep passion for working with women more broadly, helping them cultivate healthy boundaries, strengthen self-worth, and move toward lives that feel grounded, empowered, and aligned with their values. I enjoy helping women—across all stages and experiences—find their happiness and sense of balance, not just in recovery but in everyday life.

I have completed specialized training in play therapy and have experience working with individuals, children, couples, and families across the lifespan. My clinical work is grounded in helping individuals develop deeper self-awareness, reconnect with their authentic selves, and build the confidence to express their needs, values, and boundaries in meaningful ways. I believe that clear, compassionate communication is the foundation of all healthy relationships—both with others and with oneself.

My clinical interests include multigenerational trauma, anxiety, grief, and depression, and I approach this work through a relational lens that honors each client’s unique story and lived experience. I recently earned my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and am currently practicing as an intern while working toward full licensure.

I truly believe that everyone is just one lesson away from becoming happier.
