ERIKA ROBERTSON

CSWI

Erika believes in the power of therapy as a transformative tool that can empower individuals to overcome obstacles and cultivate a fulfilling life. She creates a safe and non-judgmental space for her clients, allowing them to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences in a supportive environment.

Born and raised in rural Pennsylvania, Erika moved to Reno in 2017 after falling in love with the Biggest Little City and the mountains that surround it. She completed both her bachelor’s and master’s degree in Social Work at the University of Nevada, Reno. While pursuing her education, Erika worked as an outpatient case manager at Carson Tahoe Behavioral Health Services and at Northern Nevada Regional Medical Center as a licensed social worker. She completed her master’s-level field practicum at Washoe County Juvenile Services. Erika holds an interest in social advocacy in addition to therapy and was the 2023 recipient of the Compass Rose Award for Social Justice. Her experiences have provided her with the appreciation and skill set to work with a variety of ages and backgrounds. Erika is a DBT-trained therapist and is certified as a suicide interventionist.

Erika holds a deep passion for helping others. Her approach highlights empathy, encouragement, and authenticity. She combines evidence-based techniques with a personalized approach to support healing and growth. She values humor in her sessions and believes in the power of laughter to affect change.

Erika enjoys exploring Nevada’s wilderness by hiking, camping, and trail running with her dogs when not in session.
