Dominique is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She graduated from the University of Nevada with both her Bachelor and Master of Social Work degrees, with a certificate in Addiction Treatment Services and a minor in Psychology. Originally from Las Vegas, Dominique fell in love with the beauty of Northern Nevada and is here to stay!

Dominique is passionate about trauma-informed care and is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). She also has skills training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and believes in the balance of acceptance and change. Some of her experience includes working with people on the Autism spectrum, veterans and first responders, substance use disorders, LGBTQ, and acute care.

Dominique enjoys working with people of all ages, though is particularly skilled in working with adolescents and young adults. She has a warm, nurturing style, balanced with a dynamic approach to therapy. Dominique believes in the power of telling your story in a healing, validating environment where shame can’t survive.

She believes that Albus Dumbledore said it best: “Understanding is the first step to acceptance, and only with acceptance can there be recovery.”
